I just released check_ssl_cert version 1.2.0: check_ssl_cert is a Nagios plugin that checks X.509 certificates by:

• checking if the server is running and delivering a valid certificate
• checking if the CA matches a given pattern
• checking the certificate validity

It returns a critical status if one of the tests fails

Changes from version 1.0:

• option to enforce a given email address in the certificate
• option to enforce a given organisation in the certificate
• cleanup and POSIX compliance (thanks to Dan Wallis)

I just upgraded all the hosted blogs (blog.matteocorti.ch, previtali.info and sassolino.ch) to WordPress 2.3.3.

I just split the ETHZ hints page (with instruction on how to use VPN on a Nokia E90 Communicator) in two:

• a page with ETHZ-related hints (801.X, VPP, …)
• a page with E90-related hints (VPN, keyboard shortcuts)
